We are turning up the heat with a legendary addition to its judging panel - Danny Danko, one of the most respected names in cannabis journalism and cultivation.

Known for his nearly two-decade run as Senior Cultivation Editor at High Times Magazine (2002–2020), Danny shaped how the world talks about cannabis. He personally selected High Times’ Top 10 Strains of the Year for over a decade and founded the Seed Bank Hall of Fame in 2007 - honoring the breeders who changed the game. 

With more Cannabis Cup judging experience than anyone else on the planet, his presence at this year’s event guarantees an unmatched standard of expertise.

Danko’s influence extends far beyond the printed page. He’s the author of “The Official High Times Field Guide to Marijuana Strains” and “Cannabis: A Beginner’s Guide to Growing Marijuana”, and the host of the Grow Bud Yourself! podcast - where he continues to educate and inspire growers worldwide.
