Where Autoflowers Stood Their Ground

Here we are, days after meeting again in Los Angeles. As we were getting close to the event, the judges have arrived at the house - where Jeremy was waiting for each of them with the cool kits - 1 set containing 75 entries in flower and 19 in hash of all kinds.

Last year was the first edition when we introduced hash and we saw your excitement and this year was an absolute blast when we confirmed the final amount of entries in hash, rosin and BHO.

Not only the community response was immediate and excited, but it was also reflected in how carefully you led the seed to podium or just in the competition.

As Jeremy mentioned on stage, all the hash entries were surprisingly qualitative, well worked and deserving to win.

Through 3 days of active judging, we got to see tolerability and professionalism at their peak. It is absolutely not easy to judge and have objective thoughts with all the joints, chats, dabs, interviews. But hey! That’s the fun of it, right? And even if it is a hard job - the judges somehow make it feel simple when hanging around them while they are hands on the job.

So, coming back to what what we are here for… the AWARDS!!

The podium was so diverse and this can only mean that autoflowers are marking progress as year goes by - and the American Autoflower Cup is here to mark every milestone of this forward thinking movement in the US and worldwide cannabis path. Highest THC went off the charts … AGAINN!!! You guys are killing it with the high!

After last years’ Atlas Seeds 30.33 % THC with the Mendo Breath Auto, the Farmer HatBeard from the Mephisto team, came in strong this year with 33.88% for the 505 Headbanger - and the title hits exactly the spot. As of this week we will be releasing the Lab tests for the first 15 highest THC strains, so make sure to be connected to us on Discord:)

This was not only an Awards Ceremony, but an evening where we’ve met with part of our community, made new connections, it was a space where breeders met with growers, exchanged knowledge and a loooot of seedsss! Let’s see what and how will yield by next edition!

The event was not only THE spot for reuniting the best autoflowers and cannabis names in the industry, but also a place where we came to have fun and listen to good music.

Big up to Linafornia, the local DJ who was on top with the sound selection, adding her carefully curated sounds thourought the whole night in Hollywood. 

And of course, shoutout beTRUE LA for hosting us! This venue feels like home from setup to wrap up. We will definitely remember with joy each event organised at this venue.
